Customized Corporate Fitness

The Conference Board of Canada's Survey of Canadian Workers on Work-Life Balance found that “Inactive employees impact the organizations they work for in a cost-negative way in terms of productivity, lost work time, and increased claims against benefit packages”. In that survey they also found that one in two employees are experiencing moderate to high stress levels resulting in lower job satisfaction. 

Knock Knock Fitness can initiate a more pro-active approach to removing daily stress, enhancing fitness knowledge, and release endorphins (the natural happy drug produced in the body that gives us a sense of well being) in your staff. 

Here are some options for your customized presentations, whether it be a monthly visit, or consistently throughout the week. This is what you can expect your employees to receive while training with our certified personal trainer:

Workshop Topics:

a) Stressed Out? Knock Knock Fitness can help -
This workshop gives employees the tools to recognize the difference between good & bad stress and suggests strategies to keep stress at a healthy level despite the hectic pace of the world we live in.

b) 
Stretching/Relaxation Circuit -
Employees are led through a series of stretches, with the goal of liberating each employee with the knowledge of how to design their own individual stretching program. The session is concluded with a 10 minute relaxation exercise that employees can repeat and use as their own stress management tool.  

c) 
Who, What, Where, When, Why & How Fitness - Q & A
This workshop will be employee directed, giving employees the opportunity to ask ANY questions they have about fitness and health related topics. The best part about this workshop is, it allows the employees to feel like they have a voice and will be personally answered, all questions accepted.

d)  
Weight-Loss – Tips & Tactics during a busy work day
If your staff is serious about losing weight, this presentation is for you. We will discuss: Tactics on how to conquer the battle against fat while at work, how to use a form of strength training to lose those difficult excess pounds that minimize confidence in the workplace, and simple tips to cut out and burn more calories throughout the day.  

d)   ‘
Back’ to Basics – Postural Support Program
An interactive workshop where employees will learn how to assess if they have flexibility or postural issues that may contribute to back pain during the day. *A large mirror is required for this portion, or some form of reflective device for the staff*. Once they identify these potential issues, they will learn specific exercise solutions to improve their back health and feel more resilient for the entire workday.
