Jennifer's Tip on 'How to be a Success?'

Tip: There's no such thing as failure. There's only feedback. Stop judging yourself & start recognizing it for what it is, an entry point for learning. The truth is, if you're not failing then you're not really reaching & really trying. If you don't like the outcome of a situation, learn from it, make corrections & reapproach wiser & stronger until you achieve your goals. Success is in big part a matter of attrition.

In the past, I have joined gyms. Many gyms. All with the best of intentions; all with the same short term results. This time, I wanted it to be different. The lifestyle that I had leading up to this epiphany was one of heavy socialising, high stress and lots of business travel. Despite being active (mountain biking and completing endurance events) I was far from fit, so lifestyle changes were required to get me where I wanted to be. And if you are thinking of engaging a personal trainer, then I'm guessing you are in the same place!
What initially drew me to Jen's page was that she appeared not to be a typical personal trainer. Being a male, I knew that a bloke in top physical condition would just put me off after a few weeks. But I knew I needed someone who would be tough with me! When I met Jen for the first time, it was straight to business, no nonsense and direct. 2 weeks later, my diet was ripped apart and training had started and I knew I had the right support to make the lifestyle changes I needed. Each week, I became more focused with Jen's excellent guidance. Each training session was new, interesting, specific for my needs and targeted my goals. Each diet sheet was reviewed and advice on improvements has meant my diet is as varied as ever, very healthy and meets my fitness goals. Jen has enabled me to make the lifestyle changes I wanted to make.
Ultimately, you get what you put in. I consider Jen and her training, an investment. Professionally, I live by the adage "commit or quit" and Jen has enabled me to commit to the fitness goals we have set each month. It is unthinkable that I would train without her encouragement, support, drive and the fun she brings to each session. I can't thank Jen enough and I feel lucky that she was able to train me. 26 lbs gone in 10 weeks speaks for itself!" - Jai (Feb.2014)
JULIA BUXTON-COX:
On July 11th Knock Knock Fitness opened the door to the new 'Julia'. During our initial consultation, we designed a plan that would be structured around her own personal health goals: Goal 1-be able to do real push-ups. Goal 2-UP her afternoon energy lows. Goal 3-lower BP Meds. Now it is rare for my clients to conquer all 3 of their goals within the 1st month of training... but with Julia it was far from impossible. Because on July 30th Julia has shown herself and her trainer, that with a positive attitude and a lot of effort, those goals CAN be conquered.
She can now to do walk down / walk up push ups on her mat, after each session with Knock Knock Fitness she is so energized she ALSO goes out to walk the dog afterwards... AND she is seeing her doctor this week about lowering her blood pressure medication.
If that isn't reward enough.. she has dropped 8lbs, and lost 13in off her total body measurements!!!
When it comes to clients like Julia who listen to their trainer and want to learn from me right from Day 1, and are basically sponges that soak up what I provide them... then the results are literally at their fingertips.
Thank You Julia for being exactly what you are.. awesome, empowered, happy, You. I am so excited to see where Aug, Sept, and Oct take us (Hawaii 2013!!!)

Jessy Janzen (now Klassen)
-'Bride to be' began training with Jennifer mid-May, and has a serious goal in sight - Sept.1st (her wedding day). We have structured her training to be a full 3 months of summer sweat-ville, and strength training!
-In her first 12 days of training she has lost 3lbs. And 2 1/2 in. off her waistline. Also, she ran a charity 5km race with the Knock Knock Fitness team and achieved the best time!
-After 3 hardworking months, Jessy surpassed her goal and lost 23lbs, toned her upper body, and became the Bride she dreamed she would be.

-Began training with Jennifer on April 7th. In her first 2 weeks of training, she lost 3 in. off her waistline and almost 2in. off both arms. To finish off the month, she lost 8lbs!
-After her first 3 months of training, Laura has lost 16lbs., destroyed 8in. off her waistline, 4 in. off her hips, and 2 in. off both arms.

It is official - After 5 1/2 months of training, Laura has now lost a total of 12in. off her waistline... and her trainer could not be more happy and proud of all her hard work.
